This is a real challenge for the City Officials to Address This is a part of Monroe History. Absentee landlords and transient renters. No one is at all sure what Jeff Green, a full time city employee in the planning department does for us. Any time he does anything there is a news release in the local paper. Perhaps he could be assigned to blight enforcement and put his findings in the local news. Nothing in these photographs or captions is intended to imply that there is anything at all wrong with any properties in The City of Monroe or that there are any changes needed in blight enforcement or laws governing same or indeed that any blight exists or that the giving of recognition awards is misguided or that any and all employees of the City are not working diligently and giving the task to which they are assigned at least a 100% effort.
